Fall is Coming and You Know What That Means…🍂
Dear friends,
Summer is winding down and fall is happening. The flights of fancy that come with the heat are getting grounded—time to get back to business.
A lot of that business will be the election. You know you're going to hear a lot—some will be right, some will be wrong. But we're here to keep you grounded, and here's how:
We'll be sharing a glossary series on abortion-related terms we use (and terms we avoid) on our Instagram (follow us, if you haven't already!)
We're working on a new project with our friends at Shout Your Abortion, Plan C, and I Need An A to engage folks interested in volunteering to support abortion access
We're hosting three more volunteer sessions through our Pollination Station for folks who want to become practical support volunteers (see below!)
No matter what happens in November, the abortion access crisis isn't going anywhere. Regardless of who wins on November 5th, we are still fighting an uphill battle. Our community will still be called upon to roll up our sleeves and do the hard, unglamorous work of making abortion accessible. The work isn't going anywhere and neither are we.

Does the election have you stressed and feeling like you need to do something? We've got you covered! Train to become a practical support volunteer through our Pollination Station, which is back this fall.
This three-part series covers the fundamentals of practical support within the current abortion access landscape. These in-depth sessions explore trauma-informed response, the fundamentals of reproductive justice, and the history and practicality of practical support. Upon completion, participants are then connected with their local Practical Support Organization (PSO), allowing them to seamlessly integrate into becoming an effective volunteer.

Partner Spotlight: Shout Your Abortion's New Campaign 🫶
Our friends at Shout Your Abortion (SYA) recently launched a new (and absolutely amazing) billboard campaign in Amarillo, Texas: Pregnancy is Optional. The campaign, in partnership with Amarillo Reproductive Freedom Alliance, a local advocacy organization, features bold, black and white billboards across the city. The featured link, youalwayshaveoptions.com, provides information and resources on abortion care.
As SYA announced, the Amarillo billboard campaign is the kickoff of a national event led by SYA to let folks know that they still have options to safely access abortion care, even in states with bans or restrictions. We love to see it!
