Announcement from the Executive Director

And so it is time for one more transition: at the end of January, I am stepping down from my role as Executive Director to make space for new leadership to build the next iteration of Apiary. I am so proud of the organization this idea has become. I am so proud of the team that we have built, of the work we have been able to offer, of the power of this community. Now, it’s time for a new vision to lead this incredible team through these next years.

We are relieved that the Supreme Court has voted to keep mifepristone, a safe and effective drug that has been approved by the FDA for more than two decades, on the market. This means that medication abortion will still be available.
